Job Description:
A company is looking for an Individual Life Underwriter
Consultant to partner with independent agents in underwriting and
supporting the sale of individual insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate risk for insurance cases based on various
factors including demographics and medical history
Create competitive offers while maintaining cases to meet revenue
and profitability goals
Provide training and guidance to new associates and participate in
post-underwriting audits
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience required
3-5 years of related life insurance underwriting experience
required
Minimum $1M approval limit with review up to $2M desired
Active pursuit of industry designations (LOMA or ALU) desired
