Clean Harbors, North America's leading provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services, is seeking a dedicated Class A Hazmat Driver to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant transportation of hazardous materials, directly supporting our mission to sustainably protect and clean the environment. This position requires precision and adherence to strict regulatory standards to ensure the safety of all stakeholders and the preservation of our ecosystems. Safely operate Class A vehicles in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Transport hazardous materials from client sites to designated Clean Harbors facilities ensuring proper containment and segregation. Perform daily inspections of the vehicle and equipment to ensure operational safety. Complete necessary documentation such as manifests and logs in compliance with company policies and government regulations. Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency situations or spills as part of our emergency response team. Engage in loading and unloading activities ensuring adherence to safety standards. Maintain communication with dispatch and respond to routing instructions. Participate in ongoing training and safety meetings. Strong knowledge of DOT and EPA regulations regarding hazardous waste transportation. Ability to operate electronic logging devices (ELDs) and other transportation management software. Physical fitness and ability to handle physically demanding tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. DOT medical certificate. Clean driving record.
