Your expertise will help navigate complex regulatory landscapes, protect user privacy, and enable rapid product development across our transformative technology. - Provide comprehensive legal support for Ring, Blink, Key, and Sidewalk business lines, addressing product development, privacy, and regulatory compliance - Develop innovative legal strategies that balance risk management with business flexibility - Collaborate directly with business teams to provide strategic counsel and proactive legal guidance - Create robust legal processes that enable rapid product innovation - Serve as a trusted advisor on complex legal and strategic issues A day in the life Your day will blend strategic legal guidance with collaborative problem-solving. Our team values intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable business strategies. - 5 years of legal experience - Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent - Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention - Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work - Experience in litigation - Experience in making and/or responding to law enforcement requests - Deep understanding of privacy and technology regulations - Background in technology or product-focused legal support Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
