Job Description Job Description Direct Counsel represents an Am Law 200 firm seeking a Debt Finance Associate or Senior Associate with 6 years of experience to join the firm’s Corporate/Debt Finance practice. This opportunity is available in the firm’s Denver, Los Angeles, or New York offices. The role involves representing both lenders and borrowers in sophisticated, complex debt financing transactions. Attorneys in this practice handle a wide range of high-level transactional matters and work closely with experienced deal teams on market-leading financings. Qualifications: 6 years of experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in complex debt finance transactions Substantial experience negotiating and drafting credit agreements, commitment letters, term sheets, issue lists, security documents, intercreditor agreements, legal opinions, and related financing documentation Demonstrated ability to lead due diligence teams, coordinate with internal and external specialists, and manage matters with minimal supervision Strong academic credentials Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Requirements: JD required Please submit a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript Compensation & Benefits: In accordance with applicable law, the expected salary range for this position is $305,000–$325,000 , with the potential for higher compensation depending on experience. Associates are also eligible for an hours-based bonus .
