medicine company. Summary of Position The Senior Sales Director,
Reproductive & Women’s Health, is responsible for the overall
health and performance of the assigned region. In partnership with
the direct manager (Regional Vice President), you are responsible
for developing and implementing sales strategies based on
opportunity analysis and reviewing results from business analytics.
You are responsible for (minimally) meeting your region’s sales
goals and quotas, creating and maintaining a Regional Business
Plan, analyzing data, creating and managing your region’s data in
the Salesforce CRM, completing assigned sales and company training,
and overall maintenance and growth of your region. You must be
extremely well informed about Fulgent’s service menu and associated
science, the markets in which they serve, and therefore be able to
accurately forecast sales predictions, shifts in the marketplace,
understand the competitive landscape, and educate your manager
about potential product improvements and development. As Senior
Sales Director, Reproductive & Women’s Health, you will serve as a
field advisor to your immediate manager. You must possess an
entrepreneurial drive to own the territory as if the role is an
independent franchisee of Fulgent Genetics, being responsible for
the overall profit and loss of the region. Key Job Elements Ensure
a seamless flow of new product information with customers,
prospects, and business partners including healthcare providers,
genetic counselors, laboratory directors, and institutional
stakeholders. Develop and grow assigned territory with an
entrepreneurial spirit and ownership mentality. Strive for
consistent sales target growth through a strategic and consultative
selling approach. Expand portfolio through an adaptable growth
mindset and materialize growth opportunities through creativity and
flexibility. Achieve revenue goals through strategic planning,
development, and demonstration of persistent resilience and
competitive drive for growth in the assigned territory. Maintain
and provide documented feedback, track sales performance and
customer engagement, and define retention strategies using
forecasting data using CRM tools and internal reporting systems.
Conduct market analysis, develop sales plans, and adjust sales
tactics based on business analytics. Act as an advisor to the
direct manager on various sales aspects such as business
intelligence analysis, market trend analysis, strategy development,
and business plan execution. Actively gather content for the
marketing team for applications notes, web content and new
applications. Maintain the technical and market expertise necessary
to provide exceptional education on the proper utilization and
acceptance of Fulgent’s products and services. Demonstrate a strong
working knowledge of the capabilities of Fulgent’s cutting-edge
genetic testing solutions across reproductive health, women’s
health, oncology, and rare disease. Possess an exceptional level of
scientific and technical aptitude required to deliver technical
presentations, participate in scientific discussions, seminars, and
webinars, and deliver product demonstrations. Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a minimum
of five years of successful clinical genomics sales experience
Strong preference will be given to candidates with genomics sales
experience specifically in the prenatal and women’s health market
Preference will be given to candidates with a BS or MS degree in
the life sciences A verifiable record of sales accomplishments
spanning at least five (5) years that shows competency in meeting
sales goals, negotiations, and selling to customer needs. Strong
experience calling on OB/GYN, Children’s Hospitals, and academic
institutions in the prenatal and women’s health diagnostics market.
Experience in dealing with a range of senior stakeholders.
Self-directed with strong work ethics and initiative. Strong
interpersonal skills and demonstrably good at working within
multicultural, geographically dispersed teams. Strong ownership
skills. Salesforce CRM competence. Ability to interpret and explain
policies, procedures, rules and/or regulations to clinicians and
the public. Ability to use tact and diplomacy to establish and
maintain cooperative relationships when dealing with the needs,
problems, and/or concerns of clinicians, the public, and/or outside
agencies. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Supervisory
