Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Orange, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,989 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Outpatient Oncology Case Manager Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: 2 Years of Oncology and Case Management Experience License: Active RN License Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: - Oncology Experience - Case Management Experience - PEDS Experience Preferred Description: This role supports oncology patients in an outpatient setting. The nurse will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for patients. Responsibilities include assessing patients and implementing physician orders and treatment plans. The nurse will be accountable for medical procedures and maintaining accurate records. Monitoring and evaluating patient care processes and outcomes is essential. Coordination of activities with other services and disciplines is required. The nurse must have a background in oncology. The nurse will be responsible for customizing care plans per patient needs. The role includes conducting nursing and care management evaluations across inpatient and outpatient settings. Follow-up appointments and the ordering and tracking of labs, appointments, and scans will be managed. Coordination of referrals, authorizations, and durable medical equipment orders is required. Transition planning and needs assessments are part of the role. Experience with oncology patients is crucial. The position does not involve administering chemotherapy but requires knowledge of chemotherapy and its interactions. CPHON certification is preferred but not mandatory.
