WHAT YOU’LL DO: Work with fellow Technicians and Engineers to fabricate items using various techniques, such as welding, drilling, grinding, and sawing Perform quality checks on completed products Troubleshoot issues with the fabrication equipment Follow OSHA safety guidelines REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Reading and interpreting blue prints and drawing Welding (GMAW/FCAW/GTAW) of steel, stainless, aluminum, exotic alloys with 2-5 years experience Metal fabrication in an R&D environment with 2-5 years experience Sheet metal fabrication experience (using press brakes, finger brakes, slip rollers, bead rollers, and other forming equipment) with 2-5 years experience Basic use of conventional machining equipment (mill/lathe) Ability to work through R&D tasks with limited oversight (evaluate, design, order materials, execute) High level of mechanical aptitude (aerospace/automotive/motorsports background) Advanced mathematical and engineering skills Advanced knowledge of engineering design and manufacturing procedures Ability to multi-task U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Water Jet/Laser cutting experience CAD (Solidworks) experience General knowledge with AC and DC electrical systems US Hourly Range $37.01 - $49 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
